ODU Baseball won the C-USA Regional Championship this year making the 757 proud and many fans wanted to cheer on the team in person but couldn’t.
The No. 1 seed & No. 11 overall played all off their NCAA Baseball regional games on the road because the facility is not capable of hosting seating or a press box.
Fans are on a mission to change that. The Old Dominion Athletic Fund started a campaign to support the enhancement of the ODU Baseball stadium.
The initial goal is to receive $1 for each HR of the season totaling $105 in donations. #DollarsforDingers took off from there.
It’s okay to be mad about not hosting. Rather than wine about it, take a page from what the Monarchists started yesterday and do something… going to take everyone pitching in to bring @ODUBaseball‘s home into the 21st century. #DollarsForDingers https://t.co/l6o0fjheYw https://t.co/2xzSnXFr8b
